Paul Langfield, M.S. has a unique background that combines graduate training and experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 15 years of corporate and executive leadership in Information Technology. The rare combination of business acumen, technology expertise, counseling experience, insight into social systems, and a naturally caring and personable style form a powerful foundation for helping you achieve positive change in your business.
Paul served as a faculty member at Colorado State University after receiving a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Human Development & Family Studies and Psychology. While at CSU, he became a published behavioral sciences author and an accomplished researcher, presenting at multiple national conferences. Paul has also holds an Associate’s degree in Computer Information Systems, and technical engineering certificates from Microsoft and Cisco along with ITIL certification, and Project Management (PMP) and Risk Management training from George Washington University.
As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and approved clinical supervisor, Paul co-founded Stonehorse Relationship Center, and the LifeSource, Inc. mental health hotline in the early 90s, while maintaining a successful private practice and serving as Clinical Supervisor for an inpatient addiction treatment center for convicted adolescents. Paul subsequently provided systems-based individual and group assessments and intervention for Rocky Mountain Neuropsychological Sciences, Inc. for several years. He has provided corporate leadership in the field of Information Technology since the early 2000s, including more than a decade as Director and Vice President of Information Technology for a multi-billion dollar real estate investment/development/management firm. Other business verticals Paul has excelled in include: Higher Education, Public Outreach, Computer Equipment Manufacturing, Municipal Broadband Strategy, Pharmaceutical Device Manufacturing, Supply Chain Systems, and Non-profit.
To give back to his community, Paul volunteers as Vice-Chairman for the City of Loveland Communications Advisory Board (LCAB), and provides live (behind the mirror) clinical supervision to graduate Marriage and Family Therapy students at Colorado State University. Paul is passionate about people and believes that developing effective communication, trusting relationships, and mutual accountability within an organization is the backbone for success.
